For Miss Galaxy Universe, we needed the very best bikinis to truly shine on stage. So we went to Allure Couture.

We headed to Basingstoke to meet with Lucy Ashworth who would design bespoke styles that would suit and match our bodies, likes and personalities.

Here’s how she did it.

DENI’S BIKINI: ATHENA

Lucy says: ‘Deni is a lady of presence. She radiates warmth and easily commands your attention with just a glint in her eye and a nod in your direction.

‘Her bikini design needed to mirror that. We both have a shared passion for purple and silver together but i wanted to give her something really special.

‘Given our shared love for crystals, I chose amethyst due to it’s rich and heavy purple tones which state luxury. I blended this with Swarovski crystals to ensure that the lights on stage capture their shine and sparkle in epic proportions.

‘This bikini was made with love and I finished the design with handcrafted beadwork draped delicately on her back, finished with and silver charms.’

Lucy says: ‘This was the nickname I gave Vicky because when you meet her she is like a little princess from well loved storybooks. In fact she should actually be a Disney princess. ‘It became the theme of her bikini.

‘We chose a white base together with hints of pink. I wanted to create something really different for Vicky, so on one side of her design she has movement with delicate silver chains, while on the other side there is a perfect little butterfly and flowers.

‘To add the light touch of pink, I brought in rose quartz, the crystal for love and teamed that up with Swarovski crystals.

‘The blend of the two crystals along with the movement of the delicate chain meant that this would really shine on stage. I finalised the design with handcraft beadwork and silver charms with my signatory heart #MadeWithLove.’
