This specialty lash and brow salon creates all kinds of brow and lash looks including microblading, tinting and lash lifts, as well as totally customised, weightless and damage-free lash extensions to a heap of happy clients – and I’m super happy to join the club.

Expert therapist Kiran gave me the most incredible Bold Brows (threading, shaping, waxing, trimming) while lash queen Azel gently applied a medium set of Russian volume C-curl lashes (cat eye shape) while I napped.
I came in mousey with no makeup on… and left 2 hours later, ready to take on the day or to hit the town for a night out! Just how friendly and warm Jess and the girls were was an awesome bonus.

Take Off is one of the best Melbourne beauty salons, especially for skin services. Based on Errol Street, it offers skin-needling, cosmeceutical facials and medical grade peels, as well as IPL hair reduction, waxing, spray tanning and more.

I had a great experience at the Fitzroy branch of Heading Out
They’ve won Hairdresser of the Year for a reason; Heading Out Hair & Beauty is one of the most successful salons in Australia, due to the vision of owner Anthony Martino, creative direction of Caterina Di Biase and the very best specialists in freehand colouring, technical cutting, and styling. Each salon also offers Hair Extension services, Event Styling, as well as premium Wedding Packages.
I had a brilliant experience when I went in to the Fitzroy branch recently – and weeks later my hair still looks amazing. Colour wizard Zoe used Schwarzkopf Professional colour for root-free balayage while Helen refreshed by haircut.
At Heading Out salons, you get your colour done round a giant coffee table covered in magazines and gorgeous vases of flowers – so you don’t have to stare at yourself with foils in in the mirror (much appreciated).
Plus, if the beauty therapist Preet isn’t busy with clients she paints your nails for free – so nice!
