Natural Beauty: 10 Organic Vegan Skincare Brands

We’ve been on the quest to clean up our cupboard for a while now. And with ever more cruelty-free natural beauty brands launching organic, toxin-free products that work, we can finally start to ditch animal-based ingredients, harmful chemicals and preservatives.

Put your and the planet’s health first by making wiser, kinder consumer choices. Here, we’ve compiled our choice of natural beauty products to invest in. All are cruelty-free, and most are organic and all-natural.

ESK

Evidence Skin Care (ESK) is an Australian cruelty-free premium skincare brand that uses natural and lab-made ingredients, including retinal (with an A). The superior ingredient is said to be 20 times more effective than retinol and offer similar results to prescription Vitamin A.

Formulated for evening use, Ultimate A, $105, and Ultimate A+, $115, are retinal-based products tailored to young and mature skin alike, including those prone to sensitivity. They should be used in conjunction with an SPF during daylight hours to protect skin cells from UV-induced trauma. Not for use by pregnant or breastfeeding women.

The Hydroxy Cleanser, Hydroxy Overnight Mask and Smooth Serum are also hero products. We’re especially fond of the Overnight Mask which features salicylic acid and soothing aloe vera. The exfoliating and hydrating leave-on night mask works as a spot treatment too. Best for sensitive, oily, and breakout-prone skin. The mask is sold separately, and you can find other products included in bundles suited to your skin type.

Biologi

Biologi, the Aussie brand renowned for 100% active ingredient skincare, has just launched their latest innovation – the Bc RefreshCleanser and bundle.

The natural cleanser, $62, harnesses the power of Soapberry extracts to gently wash away dirt, pollutants, and impurities from the skin’s surface. If you go for the bundle two original Biologi microfiber cloths and a Biologi wash bag, it’s $74.

Miss Organics

Miss Organics is a small independent beauty brand run by another ‘Vegan For The Animals’ Bulgarian babe, based in the UK. The range includes nourishing body and face oils, lip balms and gift packs of different scents depending on your preference.
