Awesome Gym Clothes: The Best Hot New Activewear
It’s in-between seasons but we still want to hit the gym! We’ve found the best new activewear perfect for any weather.
Bodybuilding.com
We love Bodybuilding.com – a brand that’s established itself as one of the go-to resource sites for fitness tips & tutorials with a huge inventory of supplements and fitness equipment. But did you know they do awesome activewear apparel?
Many items in the Signature clothing collection feature the iconic B logo and we love the flattering cuts of the cosy jumpers – especially the stylish Diagonal Maniac Eco Sweatshirt, £27.99, which you can wear to train in as well as out and about, doubling up as athleisure wear.
Meanwhile the B Swoosh Pullover Hoodie, £29.99, is even warmer & perfect to throw on for chilly evening trips to the gym.
Bellum Active
Made for women, by women, Bellum Active create premium and stylish sports and activewear pieces, aiming to empower women with their flattering cuts, strong prints and technical fabrics.
We’re especially keen on the retro-inspired Bardot sports bra, £26, with scrappy detail at the back. Pair it with the UV-protective jazzy Starlight leggings, £60, made of 4-way stretch fabric. If you love animal print check out the Cobra strike leggings, which feature all of the same performance features.
Meanwhile the Anja Luxe Top, £45, below, is slinky, flattering and feminine with a cool cross-strap back detail. Long, warm sleeves are perfect for in-between seasons.
Odlo
If you’re after more coverage and more support but no ties or fastenings – head to Odlo for the medium sports bra. It comes in at £26, seen below in Vintage Violet Orchid Petal, and is perfect for running, weightlifting and more.
If you are going running and want to keep your ears warm, opt for one of their lightweight headbands featuring CERAMIWARM technology that generates 3°C more warmth than regular fabrics.
Vegan Food UK
British activists, bloggers and foodies Liam and Janine of Vegan Food UK have brought out a clothing range. This includes activewear, which is already hugely popular among the vegan community.
Printed in the UK using only vegan inks, the bright Iron Vegan workout top, £19, is made from 100% cotton. It features a rib knit trim and stylish tapered fit.
Wear the soft and warm VGN For The Animals bobble beanie, £17, on your way to the gym – or anywhere, really.
MyProtein
We’re obsessed with the thunder blue colour of the Power Mesh sports bra, £20, & leggings, £34, from Myprotein. They also come in black, white (as seen on Vicky below), slate grey and mauve.
The bra is supportive and very flattering while we’re especially keen on the sculptured leggings’ sweat-wicking technology and mesh pocket for your phone.
Love, Deni xox
